Lisieux School Vaikom has a tradition of 34 years. It was Rev. Fr. Joseph Pallippadan who was the Vicar of Little Flower Church, Nadel, Vaikom, started the Lisieux English School in 1982 September with one teacher and 16 students. In the beginning Lisieux School was an unaided recognised English Medium School. It got recognition for LP in 1985; for UP in 1996 and for High School in 2004. The school kept its excellence by receiving special awards from Kerala Education Department under the guidance of various Managers and the Principals.
Responding to the great demand from the parents and public for CBSE syllabus coaching in Lisieux, the school shifted to CBSE syllabus and got affiliated to CBSE in 1997. The school reached its heights in the year 2000 when it started Plus Two in CBSE syllabus. Having fully shifted to CBSE syllabus, it has kept its quality level, in the academic performance and character formation of the students under the bold and vision filled leadership of the Management, Staff and Parents.
Lisieux School is owned and managed by Little Flower Church, Nadel, Vaikom. Its Vicar is the Manager and custodian of the school. In the smooth running of the school, Manager is assisted by a Governing Body and Education Council to formulate policies and to take administrative decisions in consultation. To ensure the smooth and efficient academic functioning, the Principal, Staff and other functionaries of the school work hand in hand with the manager.
