Vembanadu, one of the largest lakes in India flows serenely sustaining the lives and activities of thousands of people on its shores in the form of cultivation, fishing, tourism, navigation, coir retting, lime shell collection etc. So also the blessings of St. Therese of Lisieux at Nadel are showered upon the people in and around the historical town of Vaikom over 8 decades, upon their spiritual, cultural, intellectual and material lives, guiding and protecting them, correcting and consoling them, helping and supporting them towards a grace-filled life.
